Nadia Beller — a Bolivian lawyer reportedly in a relationship with the married Cerimedo — was shot three times by men disguised as delivery riders outside a Santa Cruz hotel (CCTV) and survived. She told police she was lured by anonymous messages promising evidence against ex-president Evo Morales and believed Cerimedo set the trap. He was arrested Aug 18 and ordered into 180-day preventive detention at Palmasola on an attempted-femicide accusation; prosecutors cited messages allegedly his. He denies it. Shooting/arrest/detention = FACT; guilt = charged, not proven.

One operative worked Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Honduras; one U.S. movement lent its brand to each.
